The Villas & Landscape

The Villas

Ellotis Villas is a traditionally stone built complex of 11 villas spread in 15 acres of private land. It has been a lasting vision to recreate the architectural style of the area that shows immense natural and architectural beauty. Every single one of the villas has been built with artistry by following traditional methods of construction and by using local materials, without compromising the comfort of modern amenities. Accommodating from 2 up to 8 guests, each villa is a detached, self-sufficient vacation home with its own private swimming pool.

Landscape

Part of the vision coming to life was to immerse into the natural environment and become one with the beauty that surrounds us. Extra attention and an ongoing effort were put in designing and maintaining the landscape of Ellotis Villas. Between the paved alleys that lead to each villa, beautifully groomed gardens, well maintained lawns, blooming flowers, aromatic herbs, orchards and multicolored roses are all elements of a living painting that exudes serenity and peace.

Location

Ellotis villas are nested on the hills of Vamos village in the county of Apokoronas and it is a 25” drive between Chania and Rethymno city. The area is renowned for its countryside allure, the picturesque villages, its warm local folks and its numerous sights. For summer visitors, besides the privately owned pools, one can cool off at the nearby beaches, however the area is ideal for all year round visitors who wish to explore authentic Crete, away from busy, heavily touristic places.

Ellotis Beach Apts

Ellotis Beach apartments and studios are an ideal family friendly choice for your summer holiday. Six contemporary apartments and six spacious studios can comfortably accommodate four and two guests respectively. This modern holiday complex is by the sea of Kalyves beach and it owns a large common swimming pool, a playground and an adjacent delicious seafood restaurant. Everything you may need during your summer vacay is within a hand’s reach, so forget about stressful car drives with trunks full of stuff and just enjoy some sea and sun.
